CARING FOR YOUR CHARCUTERIE BOARD
The wood is Black Walnut and is finished with food safe Mineral Oil. Best to just wipe with a damp cloth, but can be washed with soap and water and dry off excess water with a rag or paper towel and stand upright to dry. Never wash in the Dishwasher and don’t leave flat on a countertop when wet or the wood could warp. If you want to keep the rich dark color I’d suggest getting some mineral oil and wipe on with a rag and let it soak in. I believe all mineral oil is food safe, so any kind will work.
